Our turf is matured over a longer period without the use of environmentally harmful plastic webbing, unlike many growers. Our wildflower range is field-grown, eliminating the need for acres of single-use plastic as a separation layer.

What we grow

Concentrating entirely on producing top quality seed-grown turf for the landscape and domestic market. Grasslands Ltd has evolved into one of the largest turf growing enterprises in the UK.

Our flagship turf, Rysport, is grown on the fertile soils of the Romney Marsh, using seed selected from the Sports Turf Research Institute’s list of highly rated cultivars. Rysport’s hard wearing qualities make it the ideal choice for the domestic garden. Rysport has featured on award winning gardens at The Chelsea Flower Show and can be seen at many high-profile attractions such as the Tower of London, The Brighton Pavilion and Kew Gardens to name a few.
